Polyester Felt

  • Polyester is the most popular and costs effective filter media. Polyester felt provides good all-around chemical resistance, especially in applications operated below 79°C
  • Polyester has excellent tensile strength and abrasion resistance. However, it can not sustain moisture content in flue gases due to poor hydrolysis properties.
  • Acrylic is commonly used as an alternative to Polyester for protection against hydrolysis problem at elevated temperature.
  • Fabric Treatments: Singed, Glazed, Oil, and water repellent finish.
  • Polyester felt with PTFE membrane lamination is also available. Alternatively, microfiber finish is available to lower emissions.
